The celebration of the DSS WEEK started with a short opening program. Then some activities just like cheer dance competition. This afternoon I am proud to say that I had a great day. Despite the burdens that we have faced due to the pressure which was put upon us, we graced under pressure. We enjoyed what we have made within a short period of time. And I am proud of it. I am proud of my UPVTC Psych friends!!!
Since the day I watched the movie "The Haunting in Connecticut" I couldn't erase from my mind the nursery rhyme which was mentioned in the said movie. It goes like this: “ One bright day In the middle of the night Two dead boys got up to fight Back to back They faced each other Drew their swords And shot each other A deaf policeman heard the noise And came and killed Those two dead boys ” Since then, I wanted to see the full text of this creepy rhyme. That's why I am so glad that I have finally found the whole version of the rhyme. It is entitled " TWO DEAD BOYS ". TWO DEAD BOYS Ladies and gentlemen, hoboes and tramps, Cross-eyed mosquitoes and bow-legged ants, I come before you to stand behind you, To tell you something I know nothing about. As a child, I am not exposed with much nursery rhymes. I could not even say that I have memorized one before. Because I never did. However, as I grow up I became fond of everything to do with children especially songs, rhymes and folktales. Now, I would like to post series of things concerning children stuff. The first one would be of the Creepiness of Childhood. I chose this because I am quite scared or afraid of the things being mentioned or left unsaid in poems and rhymes for children. Now, the CREEPINESS OF CHILDHOOD shall begin. Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep, If I shall die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take.
